“REMEMBER”
A non-profit organization offering D-Day tours in Normandy and other educational events.
“REMEMBER”: Together, let’s pass on the lessons of history.
The events of the first quarter of the 20th century teach us the dangers of ignoring history’s lessons. The memory of the tragedies of the Second World War is fading, growing more distant with each passing day. Today, it has become essential to preserve the memory of these tragedies of the last century — and that is the mission “REMEMBER” has set for itself.
Sharing the past with future generations :

“REMEMBER” has developed educational programs specially designed for young people to preserve and pass on the memory of the events of the Second World War to future generations.
These programs were evaluated in spring 2024 during the 80th anniversary commemorations of D-Day with French middle and high school students from Normandy. In the near future, they will also be offered to young people from England, Germany, the United States, and beyond…..
Designed for the youth of all nationalities, these programs aim to foster a shared understanding and common perspective on history, bringing together young people from diverse cultural backgrounds and origins through the legacy of World War II.
Private tours, tailor-made for all audiences :

Building on his 30+ years of WWII research, Rodolphe Rutman has created the “D-Day Discovery Tours”, offered exclusively by “REMEMBER”.
Each program can be adapted for a variety of visitors — couples, families, or bigger groups. They will be accompanied by an expert guide, passionate about sharing the history of the Normandy landings and the broader liberation of Europe.
This kind of deeply immersive experience, with visits to key sites, personal stories, and insights, brings history to life from every perspective.
With your expectations in mind, we offer you a fully tailor-made tour.
D-Day tours in Normandy for schools :

In 2024, “REMEMBER” launched its first educational module for schools focusing on US troops landing at Omaha Beach.
Twelve additional modules on other D-Day topics will be developed and offered to school or university groups, in France and abroad. For private groups, several special D-Day tour options are already available, and those who wish can also create a fully customized program.
Producing documentary films

To complement our educational work, “REMEMBER” produces high-quality documentary films focused on specific themes related to World War II. These films are integrated into our educational programs, providing powerful storytelling that connects the past with the present and enriches the learning experience.
“REMEMBER”: a non-profit association

“REMEMBER” operates as a non-profit association to make its services accessible to all. Many educational activities are offered free to school groups. Income from private tours helps fund programs aimed at young people. …whether French, British, German, American, Canadian, Australian… or from any other nation that took part in the events of D-Day. This model allows everyone, regardless of means, to engage with history in a meaningful way. Our goal is to ensure that this defining moment in history continues to inspire reflection, gratitude, and understanding for generations to come.
Expert guidance you can trust
Leading our tours is Rodolphe Rutman, an accomplished guide, author, and award-winning documentary filmmaker. Rodolphe’s work—including films such as Big Red Omaha—has been broadcast on major channels like France 2, ARTE, and ZDF. With decades of experience, he brings historical accuracy, deep insight, and the moving testimonies of veterans to every tour.
REMEMBER: Preserving History for Future Generations

Educational Programs Designed for Youth
Understanding history is essential for young people, which is why REMEMBER develops carefully crafted educational programs focused on the Second World War. In spring 2024, we piloted these programs during the 80th anniversary of D-Day with middle and high school students in Normandy. These programs will soon be extended to youth from England, Germany, the United States, Canada, Australia, Poland, and other nations involved in D-Day. By connecting students directly with history, we help ensure that the sacrifices and lessons of the past are never forgotten.
