“REMEMBER”

A non-profit organization offering D-Day tours in Normandy and other educational events.

“REMEMBER”: Together, let’s pass on the lessons of history.

The events of the first quarter of the 20th century teach us the dangers of ignoring history’s lessons. The memory of the tragedies of the Second World War is fading, growing more distant with each passing day. Today, it has become essential to preserve the memory of these tragedies of the last century — and that is the mission “REMEMBER” has set for itself.

“REMEMBER” has developed educational programs specially designed for young people to preserve and pass on the memory of the events of the Second World War to future generations.

These programs were evaluated in spring 2024 during the 80th anniversary commemorations of D-Day with French middle and high school students from Normandy. In the near future, they will also be offered to young people from England, Germany, the United States, and beyond…..

Designed for the youth of all nationalities, these programs aim to foster a shared understanding and common perspective on history, bringing together young people from diverse cultural backgrounds and origins through the legacy of World War II.

Building on his 30+ years of WWII research, Rodolphe Rutman has created the “D-Day Discovery Tours”, offered exclusively by “REMEMBER”.

Each program can be adapted for a variety of visitors — couples, families, or bigger groups. They will be accompanied by an expert guide, passionate about sharing the history of the Normandy landings and the broader liberation of Europe.

This kind of deeply immersive experience, with visits to key sites, personal stories, and insights, brings history to life from every perspective.

With your expectations in mind, we offer you a fully tailor-made tour.

In 2024, “REMEMBER” launched its first educational module for schools focusing on US troops landing at Omaha Beach.

Twelve additional modules on other D-Day topics will be developed and offered to school or university groups, in France and abroad. For private groups, several special D-Day tour options are already available, and those who wish can also create a fully customized program.
